Electrical Wiring Courses

In your role as managers, supervisors, practising electricians and electrical contractor be conversant with BS 7671.

These courses provide the opportunity to understand the application of the Wiring Regulations and the principles associated with design and electrical installations. They are appropriate to those working in the domestic and commercial industry. 

Earthing and Bonding

For designers and electrical contractors who require a good working knowledge of the Earthing and Bonding arrangements as required by BS 7671:2008 (IEE Wiring Regulations, Seventeenth Edition).


17th Edition Workshop for BS 7671:2008

This workshop has been created to highlight many of the significant changes from the 16th to the new 17th Edition, BS 7671:2008 that took effect on 1 July 2008.  It is aimed at:

  1. those who require an overview of the changes but do not need a qualification;
  2. those who require an upgrade course and want to prepare for City & Guilds 2382-20.

Sitting the City and Guilds 2382-20 exam

One hour exam focussing on the updates from the 16th to the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations


17th Edition Course BS 7671:2008

This three day course is aimed at practising electricians and electrical contractors and is intended to ensure that they are conversant with the format, content and application of BS 7671 : 2008.  Following the course delegates will normally sit the City and Guilds 2382-10 examination which needs to be booked separately.


Sitting the City and Guilds 2382-10 exam

A two hour City & Guilds exam with questions taken from all parts of the IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition.




Electrical Installation Design course

This course is aimed at the needs of designers, specifiers and others involved in the design and specification, of low voltage installations.
