  • KiwiSAT - from nowhere to somewhere

    The suggestion that New Zealand could perhaps build its own amateur radio satellite was a challenge!  Experience in designing and building complex electronic systems was available but there is little significant aircraft industry and absolutely no aerospace infrastructure.  A "KiwiSAT Team" was formed - accepting that it was 'starting from scratch' on every front!  The process (and systems developed) to date - 6 months to launch - will be discussed.
