Leadership award ceremony

The Award for Leadership went to the Malta Group of Professional Engineering Institutions. The Group represents some 300 members and for the past 48 years has been dedicated to the promotion of the engineering profession and to the dissemination of knowledge related to engineering through regular activities, expert presentations, and site and technical visits to various sites around Malta and Gozo.

The Award was presented by Chris Falzon, CEO of Malta Enterprise. Accepting the award on behalf of the Group, Chairman David Abela declared with pride that the Group had gone from strength to strength and this year had reached a record 23 activities. He thanked all committee members past and present for their dedication and tireless contribution without which the Group would not be the success it is today.
