Inspec provides free training sessions either at your site or via the web and can tailor the sessions to individual requirements.

These free seminars show you how to hone your search techniques to ensure that you find the information you need more effectively, cost-efficiently and accurately. This includes a discussion of possible search techniques and what you may be overlooking when preparing your search strategy. Where time permits, a hands-on session may be included using exercises tailored to your individual interests.

North American region

General webinar information

Each session will last about an hour. You will need internet access and a phone line. You will need to be on the phone to hear the presentation and interact with the presenter as well as other participants. Calls are toll free in the United States and Canada. Familiarity with the search platform you select is assumed. Please register at least one day before the session. Once you have registered, you will be sent instructions on how to log in prior to your session.

Numerical Indexing Webinar

We will be demonstrating how to search for numerical data in the Inspec database, concentrating on the types of numerical data that is indexed, how to format the data for the best results and the various features for searching numbers such as range searching and relational number searching.
